I scheduled both Ken and Melissa and James and Anisha’s pre-wedding shoot, in and around Birmingham. We had a great time setting the trend for their wedding days to follow.

New Hall Hotel Pre-Wedding Shoot: Sophie and Steven

New Hall hotel was the chosen venue for Sophie and Steven’s pre-wedding shoot. They both were fabulously relaxed and easy to photograph. I’m sure the same will be for their wedding day.

Upper House, Stafford Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot: Katy and Simon

Ceri and Michael: Pre-wedding shoot (Weston Park)

Ceri and Michael are getting married at Weston Park in April, and it was good to be back there again for their pre-wedding planning meeting and photo session. Due to circumstances we only had 10 mins for the shoot itself, but they both still were super relaxed and got in the mood very quickly, allowing me to get a few intimate and memorable photos of them both.

Nikki and Steve: Pre-wedding shoot (New Hall Hotel)

Nikki and Steve are actually getting married at Rowton Castle next month but for their pre-wedding shoot I chose a local venue I love to photograph at, New Hall.

You’d never tell Nikki was nervous being photographed, but they both settled in to the session early on and enjoyed the session, as much as I enjoyed photographing them both.

Natalie and Sean: Pre-wedding shoot (Ettington Park Hotel)

Natalie and Sean are getting married in March at Ettington Park Hotel and, as usual I love coming to a new venue I’ve never been to before, as I feel like a kid in a sweet shop I love exploring and thinking of new ideas where to photograph. I know the wedding will be great, as they both were super cool and relaxed during the pre-wedding shoot shoot, which makes a perfect match for great photography.

Sue and Matt: Pre-wedding shoot (Coombe Abbey)

This was my first shoot of 2001 and it was great to be photographing Matt and Sue, as I’d photographed Matt’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and was thrilled to be asked to shoot their wedding too.

As they’re getting married at Coombe Abbey later this month, we chose that as our location for the pre-wedding shoot.

Sarah and Danny: Pre-wedding shoot (Cannock Chase)

Sarah and Danny are getting married at The Moat House, Acton Trussell later this month, so for their pre-wedding session they chose the beautiful Cannock Chase for their pre-wedding photo session as not only is it on their doorstep, but also they’ve had many a long walks through there together over the years.

As you’ll see below, the lovely dusting of snow made for a very seasonal photo session.

Clare and Ian: Pre-Wedding shoot (Lickey Hills)

Although Clare and Ian are getting married at Hogarths next month, we headed for the very autumnal Lickey Hills for their pre-wedding shoot to capture the spirit of the season. We spent quite some time walking through the forests and had a great time capturing the gorgeous autumn colours! The only cloud that spoilt the day was when Clare found out that her car had been broken into while they were away! I hope these gorgeous photos can help put a smile back on your faces.

It was Chris and Genni’s turn to be stars of the show for their pre-wedding shoot at Wroxall Abbey. I met Genni at the National Wedding Show NEC Birmingham last year Oct, and after the show they sent me a lovely e-mail saying they’d like to book me, although I was origianlly out of their budget.
