Dear Clive

We received our wedding albums a couple of weeks ago and despite the already high expectations that we had expected because of the amazing photos we had already seen, it still wowed us (and our family!) We cannot thank you enough for capturing our perfect day so beautifully. They really are photos that we will cherish forever.

We are a couple that love photos, always harassing friends and family on any occasion so that we can keep the memories…so when we were looking for a photographer for our special day, we had very high standards and not just anyone would do! Fortunately we met you at The National Wedding Show and your refreshing technique of not immediately selling your services and instead letting your photos do the talking had us intrigues. After talking to you further we knew that your photos would do our day justice and in all honesty, they were better than we imagined.

It’s hard to know where to start when it comes to thank you’s.

Right from the start we felt totally at ease and 100% confident that we were making the right decision. You were so flexible allowing us to book you but not confirm the package until the last minute.

The pre-wedding photo shoot was a fantastic experience, as it gave us the chance to get all our nervous giggles our of the way before the real thing.

On the day you managed to both mingle with our guests and blend into the background creating some amazing photos.

We have had so many compliments about the wedding photos and we can’t stop looking at them.

You’d never tell Nikki was nervous being photographed, but they both settled in to the session early on and enjoyed the session, as much as I enjoyed photographing them both.

I decided this year to change my stand around a bit and this was the resultThe definite star of the show though was my main center-piece image belowI’d be a rich man if I had a penny for every passerby who went “Ooooh!” or “Aaaah!” or who pointed a finger and smiled or came over and took a picture on their phone!

But I must say a big “Thank-you!” to all who dropped by to either book me, to say hello, to see my new stand images or to view my latest Queensberry albums.

As usual now comes the hard work to follow up all the appointments. If you were one of those who asked me to contact you after the show, assuming I’m still free for your date, I’ll be in touch as promised very soon.

Although I’m based in Birmingham and cover wedding nationally and abroad, if it’s practical I’m open to do a home visit to have a chat about your up-coming wedding.

I was going to post all the pictures here of my 2 new sample albums, but thought: “Why spoil the fun? You can’t beat seeing them for real!!” But here’s just a few teasers:

If you drop by my stand, D19 at The National Wedding Show (Oct 8th-10th, NEC Birmingham) you’ll have the opportunity to see them “in the flesh”. (Also, don’t forget I’m exhibiting at a fayre this Wednesday Oct 6th, at Birmingham City Football Club from 6-00-9:00pm. If you ask me nicely, I may let you see them there too )

For the last 8 years I have been an active member of a select group of professional photographers called DWF (Digital Wedding Forum- click logo for more info).  It’s an internet based forum where wedding photographers around the world share their experiences, tips and most importantly, provide support and back up should one of us be unable to cover a wedding.
