Last night the East Midlands Region of the MPA (Master Photographers Association) held their annual print competition. I was well chuffed when I found out that one of my images won the Pictorial Image Competition, while two of my other images were awarded merits. So I’m doing the happy dance now!

This was taken while on holiday in Wales a few months ago. I was immediately draw to the reflections on the wet sand and thought I just had to capture that stunning view.

This was taken over looking Crummock Water in the Lake District. Like the image above, it was the refelctions that caught my eye on the perfectly smooth water. You also get a sense of scale with the man standing in the fore-ground.

This last one was taken at last week’s wedding. The dog was the bride and groom’s dog Milo, dressed like the Ushers, and I loved it for obvious reasons
