If you’ve got a good memory you’ll remember TV presenter Marverine Cole from previous sessions I’ve done for her over the years. She called again looking for an update on her portfolio and here are just a couple of my personal favourites.
Katy and Seth held their wedding at Knowle Parish Church followed by a reception at New Hall, Sutton.
Melanie and Lee held their wedding and reception at Hodsock Priory, Doncaster
Nikki and Earl got married at Four Oaks Methodist Church and held their reception at The Forest of Arden Hotel, Maxstoke
Just a quick message to let you all know I’m still here, in case you’d thought I’d fallen into a black hole and disappeared. Life is hectic at the moment with completing orders, following up enquiries, covering non wedding related assignments and shooting more weddings (my last for the year being on 29th Dec). So I’ve not had much time to update you on all that’s happening. But I promise to make up for it soon.
I’m always humbled when someone takes the time to write me a thank you letter to express their gratitude for my photography. That humbling feeling came again when I received the following note from Jo and Lee, who’s wedding I photographed last month:
Dear Clive, well what an amazing day we had and we hope you enjoyed it too. Thank you so much for your professional, friendly and warm manner. Stunning, Outstanding and Amazing-these are just some of the comments we received about your images. You have given us the most beautiful photographs, to be treasured forever. Thanks again Clive.
Lara and neil got married at St Chads, Bishops Tachbrook followed by a reception at The Welcombe Hotel, Stratford.
After the National Wedding Show over the weekend I received the following e-mail from a couple I’d spoken to:
“Firstly I would like to say a big thank you. Until yesterday we didn’t fully appreciated how amazing photography could look and originally were looking to budget for a £800 wedding package and produce the storybook ourselves. Both my partner, his parents and I loved your work, you really have such a talent, your photos look so natural but yet would not look out of place in a magazine. You see things others don’t and that is really evident in the work we saw yesterday and also on your website since. We also thought you were very approachable and knowledgeable and would really fit in on the wedding day, rather than trying to control the day yourself, like some of the other photographers we saw yesterday.
We are really pleased with the venue we have chosen, and again have decided to spend a little more than originally budgeted as the venue is stunning and really reflects our style. With your photography we really feel you will show the true beauty of the venue and something we can look back at over the years and treasure forever.”
Now, bearing in mind that my standard package starts at almost twice their original budget, after e-mailing further details as requested, their reply e-mail I received today started with the immortal words: “Thank you for your email. Please could you send us a booking form?”
A big thank you to “you-know-who-you-are” for trusting me and allowing me the opportunity to record your special day.
Tatiana and Stephen held their wedding at St Mary’s in Brewood followed by an evening reception at Weston Park. Then the next day they had a wedding blessing at St Andrew’s in Weston, followed by another reception at Weston Park.

Sharlene and Leon got married at Holy Trinity Church, Birchfield and held their reception at The Forest of Arden Hotel, Maxstoke.
You may remember I’d mentioned that Lee was nervous for his pre-wedding photo shoot, but it all came together well for their wedding day as Jo and Lee got married at Canwell Church and held their reception at New Hall
