I’m just a few days back from the Lakes and I’m missing it already. A few friends were going up for a weeks holiday and there was a space for me and my wife so they asked if we’d like to join them. As I hadn’t been for well over 30 years and can’t remember much, and my wife Marie had never been, we jumped at the chance. It was the best holiday in ages. We were with great friends, the weather was fantastic, sunny all the way and the scenery… well what can I say!!
There were 8 of us in total sharing a cottage and we had a great time together, especially as a few were budding photographers. So I suggested that we have a photo competition on the last day, but as I was the only full time photographer, I’d judge it because if I entered I’d be sure to win
