Last night I attended a meeting organised by the Professional Photographic Qualifying Board (PPQB) on behalf of the MPA and BIPP, for all members wanting to upgrade their qualifications.
The event gave members the opportunity to speak with Fellows from the PPQB. Advice was given advice on our current level of work and what would be needed to submit a panel for qualification upgrading. As I’m currently qualified as a Licentiate, I’m now looking to upgrade to the next level of Associateship, which is characterized by a high standard of craftsmanship and individual creative ability.
The 3 Fellows in attendance (Llewellyn Robins, Su Kaye and Kevin Wilson) chose the best image from those brought for assessment and my image below was award the best.
Over the next year or so I’ll now be putting together a selection of images for submission in my panel with the hope that one day I can upgrade my qualification to Associateship.
