Welcome to my Blog!

Welcome to my blog. If you've come from a link in my website, then you already know who I am, but in case you don't know me, my name is Clive Blair.

I'm a wedding photographer based in the West Midlands, UK, although I do travel extensivley, covering weddings nationally and abroad. I've been photographing weddings since 1987 - I know, I don't look old enough, do I?

You'll find here all my latest news, reviews, highlights and info for my business.

Is photography allowed during your Civil Ceremony? If not, read on…

A debate has been going on for many years between wedding photographers and registrars over whether we are allowed to photograph, what for many is one of the most important parts of the day, the wedding ceremony.  While the law has a few guidelines, the final say is often down to the officiants of the ceremony and their interpretation of the law and sad to say in the majority of cases photography is not being allowed, thus depriving couples of an important record of the day. The only photographs we’re allowed to take is a mock signing of the register after the event.

If your wedding is coming up and you’d like to ensure that YOUR day is being photographed as YOU wish, or you would like to support our call to a allow photography during civil ceremonies, you are invited to add your name to an on-line petition here.
